Client Agreement

This agreement is made by and between the Client and the Alterations Specialist, Anita Parmar of Anita’s Custom Tailoring. In consideration of the mutual agreement made herein, both parties agree as follows:


Please arrive on time for all appointments. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be subject to rescheduled appointments. I ask clients to please bring undergarments and shoes that will be worn the day of the event to each appointment. I cannot store these items for you, and cannot alter your garment if these items are not present for each appointment. If additional alterations are required due to weight loss/gain or a change in shoes or undergarments, additional alterations charges will be assessed.



Client agrees to pay Anita’s Custom Tailoring 100% of the total project cost before any services are provided. If the parameters of the alteration changes, or if it involves more time than estimated, Anita will inform Client and they can renegotiate cost. Anita’s Custom Tailoring is responsible for the payment of all federal, state, and/or local taxes with respect to the services she performs for the Client as an independent contractor. The Client will not treat Anita’s Custom Tailoring as an employee for any purpose.


Client Approval

By leaving the studio with your completed alterations, the client is agreeing that all work was done completely and to their satisfaction. Any concerns or questions must be brought to her attention before the garments leave the studio.



Both parties understand that Client or Alteration Specialist may terminate the service at any time if, for any reason, the relationship is deemed unsatisfactory by either party. Upon written or verbal cancellation, Client is responsible for payment for all expenses incurred and any work done towards the completion of the project based on the percentage of the project completed that is determined by Anita. Should Client cancel the project following its completion, Client is responsible for full payment as per the agreed upon estimate plus all expenses incurred.
